Well this questions are way hard to solve. Mostly these are asked to mentors.


Anyway,I am going to tell you a secret about it.............

We can overcome it.

But how???

I am going to say but let's first understand what is procastination.

the act of putting off doing something that you should do till another day or time, because you do not want to do it. It means that whenever we don't want to do something ,we procastinate.

So what to do,


1. Ask yourself

Why should I do this?

Is it good for me?

If it is good then why am I not doing it?

This questions will truely help. But you have to write this in you diary . Everyone should have a diary where they can write all the important stuff which will make them better.

The goal here is to tell your consious and sub consious mind that the work is important and you should do it.


2 Detox social media

In today's world, everyone is procastinating using social media. Now is the time to have a happy break from it. 

Social media can be your friend or even your enemy. It's on you how you use it.

3. Visualise the goals

Visualise what would happen after completing your work.

Due to this, you will get motivation and most likely start working.

4. Eliminate distractions

Distraction is not only caused due to social media but also by friends, music and all.


So try to tell them the importance of work. Keep your phone away from you.

If you can than get a nokia kind of phone where you can use phone only for calls.


4. Set Tasks

One of the major reason of procastination is feeling you can't do it.

So set 3 clear goals.



At a time , work on one task. Have a task to do list. This will help you in your progress.

Don't take work as your goal, take it as a habit. This will make make your burden less and even finish you work.


5. Start to work

Now it's time to start working. Get an optimised study space. It helps to keep focus. Use pomodoro technique . Have 5 minutes break after every hour. 

Have shorter sessions like 3 sets .  1 set of 1 hour. Have a break after every set.

Do you know?

There will be some days when you would feel unproductive and give up. Well if you want to procastinate then have a good procastination. 

It just means watch a inspirational movie, feed some motivational quotes, read a self growth book.
